First of all... what's up with prominent baseball-loving Texans and their unbelievamous command of the English language while in the District of Columbia? Did Dubya meet up with Rocket before his little Congressional session today?
That being said, it's really sad for a die-hard baseball fan. The record book is so tainted. I know that cheating has always been a part of sports, but that doesn't make this any easier to stomach. The most prolific homerun hitters of my lifetime (Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro) were juiced. The most dominant pitcher of my lifetime (Clemens) was juiced. It saddens me.

It saddens me too,...the cheating and all, just to get that edge. But what really disturbs me is the
pressure it puts on the high school kids and college kids (which I saw 1st hand) to juice up, balk up, build strength, so they can chase that dream. Never mind the damage it’s doing to their insides, and mental state.....damn it all..! Sad.... Keep it clean MLB...!!!

Sad Day. You can't help but feel cheated as a fan. It seems that all of the fan favorites over the past 20 years have done something illegal. Even if Grif has had some less that desirable years here in Cincy, you still have to love that he isn't a cheater.
