A transcript of a real phone call that just happened:
(My phone rings, and the caller ID shows that it is my mother-in-law's cell. My son is with my mother-in-law today.)
Me (thinking it's my mother-in-law): Hello, how are you?
(silence)
Me (wondering if the connection is bad): Hullo? Are you there?
Toby: Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Me: Well, hi there, buddy! How are you?!
Toby: I'm good.
Me: What's going on? Are you having fun with GG?
Toby: Yeah. I have twoooooo quessions for you.
Me: (laughing) Ok, go ahead.
(silence)
Me: Tobe, what did you want to ask me?
Toby: Hold on, let me think it out...
Toby (in background): IT'S MY DADDY... MY DADDY'S ON THE PHONE...
He's so freaking fun.
