$400k in taxpayer dollars were spent on a civil suit about the termination of a freaking high school coach. $265k goes straight to the lawyers. Unbelievable.

So, to recap... tax dollars are used to pay lawyers to "punish" a school district which wrongfully terminated a retired teacher who continued to coach. Enjoy your windfall, coach.
Sounds about like what our forefathers probably had in mind. Don't move on with your life if someone wrongs you. Just sue the crap out of them.
