Toby now knows how to make his daddy melt. Toby now gives hugs. It's gotta be the cutest thing ever. It makes me feel so special... it makes me feel like he understands how much I love him, and his appreciation for that fatherly love moves my son to give his daddy hugs.
And then he goes and hugs one of Robyn's 53,081 vacuum cleaners, and I realize that it's just his new thing to do. It's still special, even if I have to share hugs with inanimate objects.

You feel near offended about him hugging the vaccum? I was there when we picked it up. I asked for a hug and he smiled real big, opened his arms..... then he hugged the cart. dude.
