In Response to John Kerry

No, I don't want the 7-year-old boy down the street to be tazered. No, I don't trust you, Sherrod Brown. No, I don't want to elect anyone who calls himself a "Heimlech Remover". I'd like Mike DeWine to take a flying leap and never be seen again. I'd like restaurants to be smoke-free. I'd prefer slot machines not be legalized in Ohio.

I'm tired of it all, and I approve this message. I'm all politicked out.

I don't think John Kerry is a butthole, but that quote is a butthole kind of thing to say. He was trying to say a hateful, insulting thing. It backfired, so he covers up. And I don't buy into this "I meant to say something else..." B.S. If he's such a brilliant man, then he shouldn't have botched such an important statement. Sometimes I really hate politics. Most of the time, actually. God forbid anyone actually tries to get something done. It's all about getting elected. It's just a job. Pathetic. Party lines. Gah.

I thought about writing a long tirade about how wrong Kerry's statement was... then I found this picture and decided I'd let it do the talking for me.On a positive note, I heard a rumor that Glenn Beck is back on Cincinnati airwaves, specifically on 96.5fm. If this is true (and his website suggests that it is), then my mornings at work will forever be more bearable beginning tomorrow at 9am. I miss me some Glenn.
