Another Photo Update

'Tas been a month since the last photo update. So... I suppose it's time.

Being snowed in wasn't so bad. It was my week of unemployment, so I got to be snowed in with the fam. Toby was getting cabin fever, so Robyn sent us outside! I honestly thought that if I hit the boy with a snowball, he'd retaliate.
Not so much. Here he is running away!
Surely, some snow angels would get him into it, right? Oh yeah, check the smile on the little man...
It didn't take too long to get him on the ground, making snowballs. After more than an hour-and-a-half, he finally decided he was getting cold, so we went in to have a nice warm lunch cooked by Mommy.
Aimee, as you can see, was pretty psyched up about the cold. Psyched up in a catatonic state, that is.
The train set is an awesome toy. Toby never tires of it... Robyn and I never tire of it... even Aimee is intrigued.
I'm convinced that on a sunny, 80-degree summer day, Toby will want nothing more than to have some quality childrens' literature read to him. It's the same thing he wants on a 10-degree snowy day. Notice Aimee, again, being intrigued by what her big brother is doing. SHE LOVES HIM SO MUCH!
Daddy plays music. So, Toby needs to be playing music, too. If I'm playing the organ, he's right by my side, banging on the keys. If I'm playing guitar, he goes and gets his guitar and brings it to wherever I am.
After church, he immediately runs up to the stage and grabs a microphone and sings (quite loudly) until the soundman mercifully shuts everything off. Then it's off to the drums... he runs the place. And he has quite the fan club.
Static electricity inside a blanket tent rocks!
I mentioned in my last photo post that Tobe likes to take pictures. Many of them are of the floor or other nondescript targets. But, as I said, every now and then he takes the most perfect picture of the most beautiful subject...
Zooming in, his reflection in her eyes...
If Mommy isn't having a good day, well by golly, we'll just have to make her a cake!
But we will most certainly eat some of the batter first...
The little girl is growing up so fast. She still hasn't decided to actually eat solid foods, but to say she's mildly interested would be an understatement.
She weighed in at a little more than 20 pounds for her 6-month checkup. Just like Tobe, she's large. I'm continuing to fall more in love with the little girl...
There's definitely something about a father's love for his daughter...
