I started using Sitemeter a few weeks back. Several of the bloggers I read use it on their sites, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's free, so if I didn't like it, I could just stop. I'm glad I don't know exactly who is reading my blog or exactly when they are reading it... that's a little too Orwellian for me. Plus, that's not why I write... Although it has provided some insight into my readership.
Then again, maybe readership is the wrong word. Maybe I should say, it has provided some insight into how folks stumble upon Rm113. Every couple days, I check to see where people are reading from. I've learned, unsurprisingly, that more people find Rm113 from Justin and Steve than any other of my blogging amigos. I get a few hits from Brian and Jennifer. Heck, even Brian's 18-month-old Aly has netted me a few visits. (Yep, that's right, an 18-month-old blogging girl. They start young these days. Toby is a regular commenter. He can be so crude.) Most clicks come from here in Cincinnati, but there are some from all over.
I chuckle, however, when I see some of the random ways Rm113 is located. Somewhat predictably, Google blog searches for bachelor parties, fantasy baseball, American Idol, and the unfortunate wedding organist from Abbey's wedding will eventually lead a surfer to this fine piece of pseudo-journalism. (Poor organist... certainly, I've ruined his career by now... and with Google's cache, it will likely never recover...)
Yesterday, someone Googled "wife threesome" and found me. I have arrived.
(Note to self... Self, be careful what you write about... kinky weirdos might find you and be very disappointed in what they find... especially if you write, within the same post, that Robyn is awesome and how your foursome in golf was essentially a threesome because of how bad you are.)

Dude, is it just me, or is your page jacked up???
It won't let me scroll all the way down through your posts.
I thought that it was just the computer I was on last week, but my comp at home did the same thing.
Do tell, what's up?
Bingo!!!
Thanks for the advice.
Who thinks of F11 anyway???
I take that back.
Its still doing it.
I really don't want to curse at the Knight 2000 template. But I'm getting there.
