The Office

I’ve never watched an episode of “The Office”, but sometimes I’m pretty sure I’m living it. I’m always hesitant to share too much on the blog about work because I know how easily my name in a google search could bring the powers-that-be to this site, but I have so much good blog-worthy material from my place of employment.

Here’s one safe-to-post tidbit… Friday, all day, I was in CPR and First Aid training. Just in case someone gets their fingers caught in the shredder and bonks their head on the copier while falling to the ground in cardiac arrest, I guess. I don’t foresee too many first aid issues here on the third floor, but CPR could certainly save a life if someone needed emergency assistance.

So, the tidbit worth mentioning: the guy teaching CPR and First Aid reminded me WAY too much of Fire Marshall Bill.

I’m making another trip up to Detroit later tonight, so I’ll get to once again enjoy the company minivan and the overpriced Detroit Holiday Inn. Good stuff.
