Yesterday, I turned the Bengals game off at halftime to do final prep work for our Sunday night small group. I figured I'd look over my notes one last time, then turn the game back on in time to catch most of the 3rd & 4th quarters. I got online to research part of the passage we are studying, and of course checked my email 10,000 times while studying... and of course checked up on the status of the game a few times... I'm such a pagan. Why can't I keep my focus on the important things? Why am I so drawn to the NFL? Email? Freecell, Solitaire, Minesweeper, ANYTHING to distract me?
Interesting note about the game (while I was "studying")... When Stover kicked the figgy early in the 4th, Yahoo initially recorded it as a FG for the Bengals. But it wasn't just that they erroneously recorded it for Cincy, I kid you not, and I have a screenshot to prove it (although Blogger images aren't working right now), Shayne Graham was initially credited with a 93 yard FG. And he's my fantasy kicker. That's gotta be worth more than 3 points, right?
