"What I'm saying is I'm in to youLast week, I found it to be odd this song was blaring over the speaker system on successive grocery visits. Over the weekend, I was somewhat annoyed when it was on during 3 consecutive Kroger visits. Today marked the FOURTH CONSECUTIVE Kroger trip that included this horrible song (that I may or may not have owned on CD while in middle school).
Here's my story and the story goes
You give love, you get love
And more than heaven knows"
- Paula Abdul, "Rush Rush"
And now, on a completely unrelated topic (except for the fact that both involve famous media whores), I heard a radio ad for 333-SEAT, the ticket scalping agency. They of course have tickets to all of the hottest events, including Hannah Montana, Bruce Springsteen, TransSiberian Orchestra, and America's favorite pastor.
(I'd offer to carpool with you, but I have to sort my sock drawer. In case you want to go, know that the cheapest ticket they offer is $55. If you want the good seats, reach in them jeans and pull out them greens... $224 each, to be more specific. Although, I guess I'd probably pay up if it meant getting the opportunity to have ol' Joel smile at me in the front row. Golly, he's pretty.)

Paula Abdul + Joel Osteen = Best post ev'ah.
I had the biggest crush on Paula Abdul back in the day. Now it's just sad.
But Rush, Rush can't hold a hat to Opposites Attract.
You can admit that you owned the album! C'mon now! I did. On tape! But it was a big disappointment after all her great hits on "Forever Your Girl." I don't think I owned that one, but I think I had them all taped off the radio. Did you ever do that? I always recorded my faves off the air! Ahhh...memories of some good mix tapes right there! :)
Oh c'mon now you know you love Smiles McGhee Joel Osteen. I keep trying to not like him but, it's almost like I get sucked into some space time gap when I look at his smile. I just finished reading his new book, 7 Steps to more Tooth Shine and I must say, it was riveting. Amen.
